PRODUCTION OF JELLY, SAUCES AND PUREE FRUITS This website is to show any prospective
buyer the reason why this production facility has been placed onto the market
and the reason present owner is selling below the company's present value
and when one considers the future potential of this business it is well
below it's real value. This was quite a lucrative business but needed additional sales to keep overheads at a substainable level. In mid 2000 to achieve this a much larger company was purchased which was producing puree fruits and ready to eat jellies plus jelly crystals. The owner of that company was to act as a consultant and expand both companies over the next eighteen months to what was discussed as the objective of the present Director. A lot of money was then invested during the next eighteen
months up-grading buildings, packaging, machinery and other areas including
merchandising. The business was expanding rapidly in several directions
when the consultant decided to go into another project. 1. Production of Jelly Cups ~ a pack of twin cups each filled with 2 x 150ml of ready to eat jelly in raspberry and lime, strawberry and orange, bubblegum and cola, plus raspberry and lemon/lime diet jelly. Ideal for: lunch boxes, travel snacks and instant dessert. 2. Production of Jelly Tubes ~ four twin tubes inside one carton ( eight tubes ) each twin tube contains 100ml or 50ml in each tube. One eight pack consists of four blue bubblegum flavour and four pink lemonade flavour. The other eight pack consists of four pink bubble gum flavour and four cola flavour. 3. Production of Jelly Crystals ~ ready to add water (similar to Aeroplane Jelly). Each pack contains two sachets each 44g = 88g nett per pack, in flavours of strawberry and lime, orange and jungle fruits, raspberry and port wine and cherry and lemonade. 4. Production of Sauces ~ was a major seller for the company but was neglected when the company purchased their second business and orders were lost. Three lines of sauces were produced being tartare, honey garlic chili and seafood each packed into 100g tubs. 5. Puree Fruit ~ this production was also neglected during the building up of the jelly business even though they were planning to greatly increase this area of production. The ambition was to produce a puree fruit baby food in flavours of apple, apple and raspberry also apple and peaches. 6. Contract Packaging ~ was
a very lucrative money-maker during the past twelve months using the
sachet machine to pack 18g of powder into sachets. Basically two persons would be required to run each Production Line. There is ample machinery to run four
Lines at the one time, example: Jelly Cups, Jelly Crystals, Jelly Tubes
and Sauces, resulting in eight persons required to run the four Lines on
a continuous basis.
Also the present director has stated that he will assist where possible to ensure that the transfer to the new owner runs as smooth as possible. Building: The present building will be available for lease to the purchaser if required and has the Queensland Government approval to be used for food Manufacturing. The building consists of: 1. Size 468 square metres at $50.00 plus outgoings per Month. 2. Amount per calandar month $2,093.00. 3. Term of lease three years with options to renew. 4 . Two large roller doors and two smaller entry doors. 5. Conditions apply. AUSTRALIA'S LARGEST MACHINERY BROKER
